Privacy Policy for Sudoku Slate

The short version

Sudoku Slate has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics of its own. Your progress never leaves your device. The one exception is advertising, which is served by Google AdMob and is described below.

Data stored on your device

Your progress, statistics, and settings are saved in local storage on your device. We cannot read it, it is not backed up to us, and deleting the app deletes it.

Advertising

Sudoku Slate shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To do that, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect an advertising identifier and information about how you interact with ads. That data goes to Google, not to us, and it is used for advertising and measurement. Google's handling of it is covered by the Google Privacy & Terms.

Under Apple's definitions this counts as tracking, which is why the app declares it and asks your permission.

Your choices

• On first launch the app asks whether it may track you. Decline and you still get ads, they are just less relevant. The game itself is identical.
• You can change that later in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
• In regions that require it, a consent form appears before any ad loads, and declining means no ad requests are made at all.

Playing offline

Puzzles are generated on your device, so the game works with no connection. Only the ads need one.

Children's privacy

Sudoku Slate is a general-audience game. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Purchases

There are none. Sudoku Slate has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
